Biography
Adelina Gizatullina was born in Moscow on July 5, 1991. She attended Secondary School No. 232. After graduation, she enrolled in the acting faculty of the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School, graduating in 2012. Her course master was Viktor Korshunov. After graduating, she joined the Lenkom Theatre, where she performed in Mark Zakharov’s productions Heavenly Wanderers, Peer Gynt, The Marriage of Figaro, and Juno and Avos.
In 2014, she became part of the company of the Vakhtangov Theatre. Her first role there was in the production Miss Nobody from Alabama. She then starred in young director Leila Abu-al-Kishek’s productions Frida. Life in Color and Nijinsky. The Mad Genius, taking on the lead roles in both. Her portrayal of the legendary dancer Vaslav Nijinsky (a travesty role) showcased her exceptional choreographic skills and was widely praised. Later, she appeared in other productions such as Peer Gynt, Heavenly Wanderers, Anna Karenina, War and Peace, and others. After ten years, she left the theatre to focus on her screen career.
Adelina made her film debut while still a student at Shchepkin, playing Rita in the series Love and Other Stupid Things(2010). In 2013, she appeared in a fantasy series Dark World: Balance and as cadet-sniper Gulya in the war drama I See the Target.
In 2016, she played one of the main roles — the maid Dusya — in the series Marry Pushkin, which premiered on Channel One in December 2016. At that time, she portrayed a pregnant character while being three months pregnant herself.
In 2017, the multi-episode melodrama Forgive, Not Goodbye by Phoenix-Film was released, featuring Adelina in the lead role of Leyla, a girl arriving in Moscow for treatment from Central Asia. Her co-star was Alexey Morozov, known from Mysterious Passion.
Adelina has also appeared in films and series such as Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes, Marlen, Sergeant, Wild League, Doctor Preobrazhensky, On the Spot, and others.
In early October 2024, the Domashny TV channel announced the completion of filming the four-episode melodrama Ivan and Madina, directed by Nikita Kononov. Adelina plays the title role — Madina — alongside Ilya Deniskin, Nerijus Mankus, Yulia Shifershtein, and others. The series is scheduled for release in the second half of the 2024/25 season. The story revolves around two young lovers who grew up in the same small town but became truly close while studying in Moscow. They planned to marry, but their feuding families had other plans. Ten years later, they meet again: he is now a successful businessman, she is a mother to a nine-year-old son who suspiciously resembles her first love. Will they be able to correct the mistakes of the past and find happiness after so many years?
Personal life
Adelina Gizatullina was married to Dmitry Golubenko for several years; the couple later divorced. Her greatest personal achievement is the birth of her daughter Pavla in 2016. For Adelina, her daughter remains an inexhaustible source of joy, happiness, strength, and inspiration.
