Filming has wrapped on the four-episode melodrama Ivan and Madina for the Domashny TV channel, starring Adelina Gizatullina and Ilya Deniskin. This was reported by the channel’s press service.

According to the plot, Ivan and Madina grew up in a small town but met later as students in Moscow. They fell in love and wanted to get married, but were separated by the will of the adults: their fathers turned out to be sworn enemies, and Madina was promised in marriage to another man. Ten years later, fate brings Ivan and Madina together again in their hometown. He is a successful Moscow lawyer. She is married and raising a nine-year-old son who looks very much like Ivan. Will the lovers be able to correct the mistake they made many years ago and be together again?

“Madina is similar to me in that she tries to create beauty around her. She is a very creative person. And she is also very brave, sometimes even daring. It’s hard for me to say how we are different. In some ways, this story repeats the script of my own life,” Adelina Gizatullina says.

The project is directed by Nikita Kononov. The melodrama also stars Nerius Mankus, Anna Koplik, Anton Borisevich, Denis Nazarenko, Yuliya Shiferstein, and others.
